In 1998 he published his first novel <em>Malacarne<\/em> (Baldini &amp; Castoldi, reissued in 2022 by Sellerio), followed by <em>Sgobbo<\/em> (Baldini &amp; Castoldi Dalai, 2002, 2002 Campiello Selection Prize), <em>La figlia perduta. <\/em><em>La favola dello Slum<\/em> (Bompiani, 2005), <em>Urbi et Orbi<\/em> (Baldini &amp; Castoldi Dalai, 2006), the anthology of short stories <em>Bambini e altri animali<\/em> (Sellerio, 2013), <em>Pantelleria<\/em> (Laterza, 2016), <em>Borgo Vecchio<\/em> (Sellerio, 2017, Premio Marco Polo Venise 2019 for the best Italian novel translated into France and Prix Mediterran\u00e9e 2020), <em>Il tram di Natale<\/em> (Sellerio, 2018, Premio Presidi del Libro \u201cAlessandro Leogrande\u201d 2019) and <em>Io sono Ges\u00f9<\/em> (Sellerio, 2021), <em>Una notte<\/em> (Sellerio, 2022). <em>L'ammiraglio<\/em> (Sellerio, 2026 is his last novel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He is the author of radio plays and of the Fahrenheit program on Rai Radiotre. <br> He collaborates with magazines and newspapers.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Giosu\u00e8 Calaciura \u00e8 nato a Palermo nel 1960.\u00c8 scrittore e giornalista.
