Luisa Merloni

Luisa Merloni is an actress and author. In 2001 she founded the company PsicopompoTeatro together with director Manuela Cherubini. She participates as an actress in several shows including, Hamelin by Juan Mayorga, directed by Manuela Cherubini, winner of the 2008 UBU prize as best foreign novelty and Bizarra by Rafael Spregelburd winner of the 2010 UBU prize as best foreign novelty. Since 2017 she has been writing and staging her own texts. Farsi fuori (2017), is a finalist for the 2019 Inbox Prize. On this text is based the movie Beata te (2022).  Aristotele’s bermuda (2021) is her first solo show, Anzian prodige her second. Also from 2023 is her second prose text Lei non sa cosa vuole.
Since 2013, she has collaborated as an author with the SPI (Italian Psychoanalytic Society) in several projects for the dissemination of psychoanalytic thought, including the documentary film Sigmund Freud: origini e attualità del pensiero psicoanalitico by collaborating on the screenplay and direction.
She has long experience as a drama teacher with children at the Oscar Romero elementary school in Torre Angela (2003-2009), with the disabled at the family home “Ciampetto” (2017-2019) and with adults at Fivizzano27 (2017-2021).
She has been teaching comedy writing at the Molly Bloom Writing Academy and Lottounico space in Rome since 2022.
